Pocket Hugs by Leah's Crafty Creations

Introducing the newest business owner to the Foster family, Leah's Crafty Creations. 

Leah is my middle daughter who is 12 years old, soon to be 13.  At the start of her grade 7 year, she became curious about crochet so I taught her the few things I knew from being self taught myself. Once she was settled into the new school year, she and her friends created a crochet group at school which is where they spent most of their free time learning more about this old time craft. 

I invited her to come spend time with me at a recent craft show, which turned into her first time out with her own little business. Leah hopes to get a lot more items made for the upcoming fall season. Many of her little projects have been made without a pattern. She plays with the stitches and yarn to achieve her final product. She has been working on stuffed animals and has many ideas to add to her creations.

These Pockets Hugs were made with a few different colors, a few have charms but most do not. They are meant to give to someone you love to carry a hug around with them. Some folks have mentioned that they would make good fidgets as well. And don't forgot that you can also love yourself and carry one in you own pocket as an important reminder!
