Pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea, pull up a chair, and come sit with me for a minute.

If you’ve been following Fosters Fields for a while, you know that this business is my heart and soul. You also know that I pride myself on being completely open and honest with you. Today, I wanted to pull back the curtain a little bit and share some big changes that have been happening behind the scenes over the last year or little more—and where we are headed next.

For years, my philosophy was basically: “If you ask for it, I’ll make it!”

Every time a wonderful customer or friend asked for a new lotion, potion, or bath treat, I eagerly jumped into the studio to bring it to life. Before I knew it, Fosters Fields had a forever-rotating, large selection of bath and body items. I loved the creativity of it, but the reality? It led to an overwhelmed formulator  and, sadly, a lot of waste from making way too much of a good thing without the proper business plan in place before I started!

The Reality of "Everything"

Let’s be real for a second—the cost of everything has skyrocketed lately. Keeping a massive inventory of highly specific raw ingredients on hand wasn't just getting incredibly expensive; it was becoming a major source of stress.

A little over a year ago, I had to make a tough but necessary choice for the health of my business and my own peace of mind: I decided to scale down.

I chose to archive the items that weren't part of my core selection. This included some crowd favorites like my Whipped Body Washes and Lotions. I want to reassure you that I haven't forgotten about them! In fact, I still make them in small batches for myself with the ingredients I have left. They aren't gone forever—they are just safely tucked away in the vault for now, waiting for the right time to make a comeback.

Growing Where Our Roots Are

So, what hasn’t changed? My absolute, unwavering love for the staples that started it all.

By simplifying the extra "noise" in the studio, it has actually freed up the creative space to make our core products better than ever. Moving forward, Fosters Fields is channeling its energy into focusing heavily on what we do best, while giving you even more of what you love:

-An Expanded Soy Candle Selection: I’ve been pouring my heart into broadening our candle lineup, offering a wider selection of beautiful scents and vessels to fill your home.

-Artisan Soaps: Our signature skin-loving bars aren't going anywhere—in fact, I am actively working on adding brand-new soap scents to the collection very soon! Perhaps a few surprise, limited edition soaps!

-Nourishing Lip Balms & Pedi Sticks: Keeping your skin hydrated and pampered with the daily essentials you count on.

You might also notice a few visual changes coming around. I am currently working on fresh, new packaging for some of your favorite items to make them feel even more special when they arrive at your door. And while we are focusing on these core staples, I do still have a few other select bath treats available on the website right now if you are looking to grab a little extra indulgence.
